My name is Rev. Kate Pinkham and I am a daughter, a mother, a sister, an aunt and a friend.
Since October 2012 I have served as the Pastor of Edgecomb Community Church, UCC. Before coming to Maine, I worked as the Curator and Director of a local historical society and a Library Archivist at a private boarding school. I graduated from Andover Newton Theological School in 2011 where I received a Master in Divinity.
Some of my favorite things to do are walking my dog, baking bread and cookies, knitting prayer shawls, and getting to know people, hear their stories and learn how God has changed their lives.
Ministry for me is a privilege and a calling. I am blessed and humbled to build Christian community in the town of Edgecomb, Maine, and I cannot wait to see where God leads us!
Come to me, all you that are weary and carrying heavy burden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me: for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
-- Jesus (Matthew 11:28-30)
